General maintenance for handmade products

For all untreated metal products, it is always advised to wash them with warm water after use and then dry them thoroughly.

Store in a dry place.

DO NOT place in the dishwasher, as this will remove any protective layer and may cause the product to rust and/or oxidize.

Over time, the products will develop their own unique patina, which is not a problem. In fact, it will give the product more character.

Regularly applying a thin layer of (vegetable) oil or wax will help prevent rust or oxidation.

If a product does happen to get damaged or end up in the dishwasher, don't panic!
